Mercedes-Benz SL500

First registered in 2004 and having covered just over 29,000 miles from new, this exceptional example has had only two former keepers throughout its life. Most notably, its first owner was the wife of the President of Iceland, with the second owner being one of our own company directors. This unique provenance is fully documented within the extensive and comprehensive history file accompanying the vehicle.

Supplied new by Mercedes-Benz Chelsea, the car spent its early years in the prestigious surroundings of Belgravia, London, with its first service also carried out by the supplying dealer. Since 2012, the vehicle has been maintained and cared for by us at John Haynes, ensuring continuity of ownership, maintenance and preservation that is rarely found today.

The specification is particularly impressive and includes the desirable 7-speed automatic transmission, Keyless-Go, ABC suspension, Bi-Xenon headlights, front and rear Parktronic, electrically folding mirrors, electric memory seats with heating, cooling and massage functions, climate control air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, electrically adjustable steering column, four airbags, AMG five-spoke alloy wheels, the electro-hydraulic folding hardtop and a factory draught stop.

Accompanying the vehicle is a large and detailed history file, documenting both its distinguished ownership and meticulous maintenance record. Freshly serviced and comprehensively prepared for sale, the car benefits from new front and rear brake discs and pads, the vehicle requires nothing further from its next custodian.

Cosmetically and mechanically, this is a superb example. The condition throughout reflects its exceptionally low mileage, careful ownership and specialist maintenance history. Opportunities to acquire a car of this calibre, provenance and originality at this price point are increasingly rare, making this a particularly special example that is ready to be driven, enjoyed and cherished.
