RESTORATION
300Sc
First introduced in 1955 the Mercedes-Benz 300Sc were elegant, powerful, exclusive and at the time very expensive.This 300Sc was purchased by our client from an auction in Monte Carlo and transported straight to us for Bodywork restoration.
The vehicle was Chassis No.1, the first off the production line in 1955.
It had spent most of its life in Chicago, USA and was in need of a cosmetic restoration to bring it back to its former glory.
The bodywork restoration including replacement of the statement front and rear wings was carried out over a 12 month period.
The vehicle had to be completely re-wired with new looms bespokely made from Mercedes, this was a complex and methodical job.
Once the vehicle had been completely finished it was requested by Mercedes-Benz to be displayed as a centre piece at the recently opened Mercedes-Benz World as you can see from our photographs this is a truly stunning vehicle.
